Last night I was so inspired that I finished 5 cards! So much fun. Love it when the creative juices start flowing and nothing hinders the flow.
First I was shopping at Hobby Lobby yesterday and found these gorgeous stamps from Prima. They are so cute...they remind me of my children. Innocent and slightly unruly at the same time. The tag I created just for fun using some of my fun stash items from JulieCollings.
The second card I made for my son's friend, Corten. His Birthday is on Saturday and my family will be attending his Birthday party. My son and Corten go fishing all the time so this stamp was perfect!
Next up was the card I created for the Paper Players card challenge of the week. I needed another guy card and I bought the Mustache stamp set a while ago and have yet to use it. So finally I used it with a bit of masking tape and wa-la!
Stampin 411 challenge card turned out super cute! I love square cards so of course went with that. I love the Wisteria Wonder paired with Soft Suede and Bashful Blue. Soft Suede is basically my go to color at the moment. Used to be chocolate chip and its recently shifted to Soft Suede. As you can tell with all my cards this week!
Last card was based off of Mojo Mondays card sketch. Love how cute the little flowers turned out! It was supposed to be a square card but I totally forgot so cest la vie!
Just signed up to be a vendor at the Sew Funky Market! Thats my stuff if the right hand corner on the postcard!!! Of course everything there is sold out but I'll be bringing some more amazing finds and creations! Click the button on the side link for more info!
Welcome to my little piece of the World Wide Web! Here I will blab and bumble about all things crafty!!! Plus I will be hosting giveaways and contests...so check back often or sign up for the shop feed!

i dont like mondays
It's raining out and I'm already dreading the "cabin fever" the kids will be feeling soon. However I love the rain and the freshness after the rain. I was able to fit in a few more finished products this weekend. Besides a busy working schedule....however my pictures are lacking but I'll be posting more sneak peeks later on this week.
This lamp will be accompaning me to the Vintage Marketplace this weekend.
Proud to have one of my cards featured on Crafty Picks #54. Love this blog!!!

i love you like a love song
I woke up with Selena Gomez's song "I love you like a love song" stuck in my head. The song is so addicting...listen to it once and its in your head for days. Had a busy President's Day. Built a gate, cut & stacked firewood and then hubby took us to Guadalajara's for dinner.
The boys after cutting firewood got a special treat "Big Pops". Oh how happy they were.
Finished Stampin 411 challenge card...I like the way it turned out. The star didn't come out exactly as I wanted but it is still very pretty. I used Sizzix Star die cut with some cardboard, applied E6000 to the cardboard and then sprinkled with Stampin Up glass glitter. Love that stuff!
Love this card...works perfectly for all the sailing men in my life. In fact we have friends who are buying a boat right now so they will be receiving this card of course on our maiden voyage. Paper Players Challenge
Had a great day shopping on Sunday with my husband. Here are a couple of fun items I picked up. My husband was wandering around using the umbrella all day...so funny. The dolls are creepy and cute at the same time....my hubby looked at me like I was completely crazy for buying them.

Just finished taking pictures of some new products I'll be offering at my Spring Show lineup. First show that will be getting the first pick will of course be the lovely Vintage Marketplace.
Just finished these Frenchie Gift Sets. Included in each set is the burlap drawstring bag, 6 fancy clothespins, 3 yards of lovely champagne seam binding and 6 kraft tags.
Sweet little glitter & embossing powders!
Fabric ribbons....these look adorable wrapped around packages or use them for product packaging.
Plus these lovelies I'm including in orders from my Etsy shop.
Is it just me or is packaging just so much fun! These gorgeous vintage laces looked great paired with some shipping tags stamped with french script.
Plus a fun yet simple card I finished last night. Using Stampin Up Tea Shoppe stamp set....love this set. So Shabby Chic!

busy busy bees
Life has been so busy lately but as my mother always says "blessed with work". Which is basically her way of saying stop complaining. Last night I whipped up a couple of cards and left two more in progress on the craft table.
Paper Players Challenge: Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
Love the way this card turned out...the colors just go so well together.
Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge
Finally got to work on a stack of embroidery hoops and paired them with some vintage linens I had. They turned out rather cute...well at least I think so.

Design Team Please
The Paper Players has an opening for two new Design team members. Oh my goodness would I love to join! I'm posting a few of my favorite projects I've created in the past. As for why I (Jessica) would like to join the team I can think of so many reasons.
1. To be able to create with a guideline and deadline.
2. To be able to peruse everyone's creations and then pick my favorite.
3. To be a part of such an amazing team if only just for a couple of months.
A few of my favorite cards....at least ones that I have pictures of.
Plus my Tart Magnet that was published in Crafts N Things last year.
And so far my favorite scrabble wording that I used as a cake topper for my sister's Birthday.

giveaway winner
Congrats to Tiffany! She is the lucky winner of my Scrabble Tile Wording giveaway. Thanks to everyone who participated planning on another giveaway soon.
I have this stack of projects that I'm working on for the upcoming shows this year. Like most crafters I see something and I buy it with "grand plans" and then I put it to the side. And it sits there waiting for me to work on it. Then I get distracted and pulled in other directions. However so far this year I've been on track. Tonight I plan on tackling a pile of vintage linens & embroidery hoops. Combining them into some lovely decor. Last night I finished this piece of odds and ends I wasn't sure exactly what to do with them.

the other half
Thought I'd give you a little preview of the other half of my globe. If you saw my older post you know I turned on half into a lampshade.
I didn't really know what to do with the other half. I was completely inspired by this globe artwork by Patina White It's so much fun and I really wanted to create one.
However I had everything except for the background. Driving home on Thursday I spot a chippy white piece of wood alongside the road. Of course I pull over and there was this great bee box top. Aged to perfection!!! I really enjoyed how it turned out.
Also finished a few more scrabble tile phrases however in aqua. "JUNK LUV" is my favorite.
My oldest son and I worked on his valentines for school. Mainly he ate candy while mommy assembled the boxes and "ate candy". The kit we had was from Stampin Up. Its called "LOVE BOTS" and they are these fun little boxes featuring a robot and sweet sentiment. However after we were all done we had a bunch of these cute little heart punches left over. So I created some cupcake toppers to add to the cupcakes for school on Tuesday.
