a new month

Today was a totally selfish day. I dropped the kiddos at daycare & preschool...then ran. To the dentist for a cleaning then onto the movies to see "One for the Money". Movie didn't of course live up to my expectations being a fan of the books. However Joe Morelli was cast perfectly...not to mention that he's hot in an unexpected way. Still looking forward to the next one!

Worked on some cards this weekend...had fun and was defintely challenged by all the challenges online. I've got my monthly card class on Thursday so I'm hoping the ladies like the new creations.

I've been slowly decorating my "craft" room and I've recently stacked these vintage suitcases and yesterday I added a birdcage that I found at SweetNSassy and threw in a few vintage books and waaaa-laaaaaaaaaaaa!

i dont like mondays

Happy Rainy Monday!

Today is a ho-hum Monday as usual. However I did get a huge inventory cleanout done last night in my supply shop. A bunch of products to list these next couple of weeks and then a Heartsy feature in that shop. Yeah! And in March I'm going to do a Spring Cleaning $1 Sale where nothing will be over $1.

Did finish a card last night for the Paper Players. Love creating with a tag displayed on the card itself. So pretty!

Lazy Day

Perhaps its the constant change in the weather or that my son is sick, but its been incredibly hard to get any quality creation time the last few days. However last night when all were sleeping I snuck out and created a few cards!

Colors Used: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla & Pear Pizzaz
I started out making the little flowers one way and then inverted them and sprinkled a little of the dazzling diamonds on them.

Colors Used: Pear Pizzaz, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral
A little stamp kissing for the first time. Very feminine!

Last card that I created was just a quick simple card created out of scraps I had. My sister's Birthday is tomorrow so she will be receiving this card.

This is my new acquisition...its a lovely wooden sign with my shop name on it! Yeah...I'm working my new booth set up around it. Working on putting my stash of wooden doors, windows and shutters into an 8x4 setup. We will see how it turns out minus a contractors help!

Plus some goodies that I'm in love with!

These placemats are moss!! How cute are they...I'm going to attempt to make some this weekend to give to my sister. She has a setup where these would be well received in her home. In my home my kids would just try to eat them...or worse!

I have these bust however mine are fully painted and I think I'll just spray paint them white...how pretty they would look flanking some vintage books.

Gorgeous Day

Today is another red letter "winter" day here in Sunny Southern California. It's supposed to hit 83 degrees today. Doesn't exactly feel like January but its soooo pretty nobody seems to mind. May even take the kids to the beach today and get sunburnt.

Some pretties found on etsy...things I'm in love with!

I purchased a great sign for my Earth Cookies shop from this lovely seller SpunkyFluff. Pictures of my particular sign to come soon.

Gorgeous hand stenciled pillows from 112FarmhouseLayne.

And finally getting ready for the next Vintage Marketplace. So thrilled to be part of this great event once again.
