Artful Thursday Post PRETTY PAPER PINCUSHION

I apologize for the lack of photos for this post. However its really easy and I think easy to follow the instructions...however probably not my instructions.

First gather your materials: Vintage Paper, Vintage Lace Trim, Mini Buttons, Cream Cardstock, Vintage Netting, Needle, Thread, Poly-Fil, Martha Stewart Scalloped Circle Punch, Sizzix Large Scallop Circle Die Cut, Glue.

Directions:
Die cut four large scallop circles using Sizzix Big Shot & Sizzix Large Scallop Circle Die Cut.
Sew two circles together and leave a bit of allowance for stuffing. Stuff with poly-fil and sew up the rest of the way. Repeat with the other two circles. Stack on top of each other (I used a little glue in between to keep them from shifting).
Handcut two flowers out of vintage netting, adhere to top cirlce.
Tie vintage lace around and knot at top.
Using cream cardstock, punch with Martha Stewart scalloped circle. Adhere/sew mini buttons to the little circle. Adhere to top of the vintage lace.
Trim Lace.

This fun little pincushion isn't exactly meant to last a lifetime but its soooo cute!

First step: After cutting out the cirlces...using alphabet stickers spell out the word you'd like.

Next step...tie ribbon around the hanger and glue the long edges together.

Next step...Attach the BABY Circles with glue and add a few other circles for embellishment.

Finish with the rest of the letters and perfecto a cute and easy door hanger!!
