Happy Sweetheart Day!

Valentine's Day...this holiday used to have me running to the video store to rent "Pride and Prejudice" then back home again to sit around (alone) and say woe is me. Now that I have a darliing hubby...I still want to sit around and watch a sappy love story.

Inspire Me Post Number 1



I was so inspired by these lovely vintage gloves that I decided to create a simple card! Polka dots, lace, ruffles, flowers and more.

Materials:
Fabric scraps
vintage button
vintage wrapping paper
Sizzix Scalloped Square Die Cut
DCWV Red Cardstock
White Cardstock (10"x6.5")
Vintage White Lace
Anna Griffin "Loving Birthday Wishes" Stamp
Marvy Scalloped Square Punch

Directions:
Create card by folding white cardstock in half
Using Sizzix Die cut scalloped square out of red cardstock, adhere to card
Stamp sentiment on white cardstock and punch out with Marvy Scalloped Square Punch
Adhere to card with foam squares
Cut strip of vintage wrapping paper, fold and ruffle and adhere to card
Adhere lace over top of the wrapping paper
Create fabric scrap flower and sew vintage button to center of flower
Adhere to card and TA-DA
