July Update

Sorry its been so long since I last posted. Life has been in a word: HECTIC
A good hectic but hectic none the less. I wish I was as diligent in posting on my blog as I am on eating chocolate. Then I'd really look efficent and together. So a little recap on the past two weeks:

I recently particpated in this great Fairy Shoe Swap. My lovely partner sent me this adorable little slipper stuffed with vintage trims and lovely goodies. So lovely...I'll post pictures of the slipper I sent once my partner receives them.

Life has been busy busy busy once again. I took a lovely Creative Packaging class taught by my friend Ana of We Love Citrus. It was so much fun and she gave us so many ideas and hands on techniques to try. Love it!

The kids are growing by leaps and bounds. We've been swimming a bit so far this summer and they amaze me everytime we get in the water. Will is incredibly comfortable and finally swimming and taking breaths at the same time. Jake just wants to dive in and kick kick kick! Crazy children.

Only three weeks away from the Queen Bee Market. Crazy busy and I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I've been busy working on my display pieces and still working on the kinks. Trying to get it to stay up without too much bulk is quite a task.

Plus my husband has challenged me to come up with an eco-friendly project. So this past week we created our own compost pile. Using reclaimed wood scraps left over from our fence build we built a very elementary structure. Now I'm filled with satisfication everytime I take the compost out. Next week: BEES

In the words of my friend Rita "Ciao"
